Use of the site

UnitConverterKit is free to use. You may use its results in your own work without asking us.

Accuracy

We take accuracy seriously and compute every figure from one table of conversion factors rather than transcribing numbers by hand. Even so, the site is provided as it is, without warranty. Some conversions are definitions and are exact; others are averages or depend on conditions, and the site says which is which. Where a mistake would be expensive or dangerous — engineering, medicine, dosing, navigation, trade — check the figure against a primary source before relying on it. We are not liable for losses arising from use of the site.

Availability

We do not promise the site will be available without interruption, and we may change or remove parts of it.
